Apple reached a settlement today with the Federal Trade Commission and agreed to pay at least $32.5 million in refunds. The move comes after parents complained their children were able to buy things from apps without parental authorization. Once parents used a password to get an app, there was a 15-minute window in which more purchases could be made. One parent said her child racked up more than $2,000 in fees.

Bowe Bergdahl, given to the Times-News in Twin Falls, Idaho. Video of Bergdahl, who has been held captive by the Taliban since 2009, emerged that showed he was alive as of at least a month ago.
