Exchange Bank picked up a pair of wins last Thursday in Little League action at New Franklin by beating Shelter Insurance 7-1 and Lang Oil by a score of 8-7.

In the first game, Exchange Bank jumped out to stay against Shelter Insurance by pushing across one run in the first and six again in the second to make it 7-0. Meanwhile, in the top-half of the third, Shelter Insurance sent one run across to avoid the shutout.

Zac Held led the hitting attack in the game for Exchange Bank with a double and a triple.

Koy Harris finished the game with two singles while Isaac Schupp added one double and David Brucks, Brady Boggs and Jordan Peterson each with one single.

For Shelter Insurance, who dropped to 2-2-1 overall, Ethan Wells had two singles while Ian Wyatt doubled and Reed Collins, Ian Madock, Matthew Morris and Andy Neal each singled.

In the second game, Lang Oil led Exchange Bank 5-3 after two and 7-3 after 2 1/2. Meanwhile, in the bottom-half of the third, Exchange Bank rallied back with five runs for the victory.

Zac Held had a single, home run and two RBIs to lead all hitters for Exchange Bank, who improved to 5-0-1 on the season.

Brett Triebsch finished the game with a single, triple and four RBIs while Isaac Schupp added one triple and Austin Durbin and Koy Harris each with one single.

Tysen Dowell led the hitting attack in the game for Lang Oil, who dropped to 1-4 on the season, with two singles, one triple and two RBIs.

Joe Monnig had three singles while Max Hall added a single and a double, Jackson Dorson with two singles and Hayden Wiseman and Tanner Hoover with one single each.
