The Lady Tigers led Prairie Home 23-14 at the half and then outscored the Lady Panthers 31-9 in the second half for the victory.

Pilot Grove coach Landon Daniel said this was a great game for all of the JV players. “Everyone contributed to this win and really worked on things to help make themselves better players and a better team overall, which is exactly why we play JV games,” Daniel said.

McKenzi Schuster and Kellie Dillner each had nine points in the game for Pilot Grove while Kerigan Wessing added four, McKalie Lorenz with three and Lauren Vollrath with one.

For Prairie Home, Brooke Emmerich added seven and Jessica Kennedy with five.

The Pilot Grove boys also led Prairie Home from start to finish while taking a 35-12 lead into the half. The Tigers also outscored Prairie Home 26-12 in the second half.

Scott Blank led four players in double figures for Pilot Grove with 16 points. Brandon Brown and Jake Leverton each had 14 points while Keaton Vollrath added 11 and Alex Twenter with six.

Jonathan Brandes had the team-high for Prairie Home with 11 points.
