The Ss. Peter & Paul girls seventh grade basketball team fell on the round Friday night against St. Mary's of Glasgow by a score of 27-10.

The Lady Warriors, dropping to 2-2 on the season, led St. Mary's 4-2 after one but was outscored 25-6 for the next-three quarters to suffer the loss.

Ss. Peter & Paul coach Carol Griffin said the girls were a little scared playing an older and bigger team but it was a good learning experience for them. "I think we will handle the situation better next time," Griffin said.

Devon Yung had eight points to lead all scorers for St. Mary's while Monnig, Johnson, Prentzler and Sanders added four points each.

For Ss. Peter & Paul, Hannah Fuemmeler finished the game with six points, four rebounds and three steals. Ellie Monk chipped in three points, one steal and one assist while Addison Quinlan added two points, two rebounds and one steal, Ella Reisinger with two points and two rebounds, Cassie Armentrout with three assists, one steal and one rebound, Kenley Fuemmeler with three rebounds, Amber Oerly with two rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot and Lindsey Harris with one steal.
