The Glasgow boys basketball team raised its season record to 10-0 by beating the Cairo Bearcats 45-31 last night in CAC action at Glasgow.

The Yellowjackets, improving to 3-0 in the conference, outscored Cairo in each of the four quarters of play and led 11-10 after one, 24-16 at the half and 41-29 after three quarters of play before holding a 4-2 advantage in the final period.

Mitchell Littrell had the high game for Glasgow with 13 points along with four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Dillon Yung finished the game with nine points and eight rebounds while Tyler Sanders also chipped in nine points.

Courtney Cooley scored a game-high 21 points, and the Cairo girls outscored Glasgow 36-25 in the first-two periods for a 59-47 win last night in CAC action at Glasgow.

Cairo led Glasgow, who dropped to 6-5 on the season, 15-12 after one, 36-25 at the half and 48-38 after three quarters of play and then outscored the Lady Yellowjackets 11-9 in the final period.

Trisha McMillan had 18 points and Kellie Bethel 14 for Glasgow, who dropped to 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the CAC.
The Lady Yellowjackets finished the game shooting 55 percent from the field and 44 percent from the foul line.
