Breadeaux Pizza opened Saturday for business in their new location on Main St. in Boonville with some new items on the menu as well.

Owners Mike and Lindsay McGuire say that “traffic has been good” and lunch rush yesterday brought an overflow of customers that left “standing room only.”

The McGuires have added some new items that were not seen previously such as baked pasta, baked potatoes, wraps, appetizers and a children's menu.

The arrival of Gelato, an Italian ice cream, will hopefully arrive some time next week said the McGuires. They are expected to have 24 flavors of the frozen treat in the freezer that also made the move from the old Boone Village Plaza location. The opening of the new location opened right on schedule on Saturday for the lunch crowd.

While the McGuires say that they are still “working out minor details, the overall experience has been great.”
