Boonville's Effie Morris clears the final hurdle to win the state title in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles Saturday at Atkins Stadium at Jefferson City High School. Morris finished first in a time of 44.36 seconds for her first state title in the 300 hurdles. The sophomore standout also took third in the 100-meter hurdles at the state track meet in a time of 15.16 seconds.
