Cutline:To celebrate National S’mores Day on Thursday, August 10, Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church held a community s’more evening where the congregation gathered on the church’s west lawn to toast and assemble their own s’more. The church youth made sure each member had their fill of the gooey treat for those who didn’t want to stand around the fire pit. S’mores Day was created several years ago to celebrate this gooey delight and is annually sponsored by the National Confectioners Association.
