Boonville No. 1 singles player Austin Rice returns a forehand against Marshall's Erlan Jones Wednesday night at the high school tennis courts. Rice played a tough match against Jones but came out on the short end 8-4. The Pirates won the match against Marshall 8-1 to improve to 1-2 on the season.
