The Boonville Pirates football team recently had nine players selected to the MFCA Academic All-State Football Team for the 2022 season. Boonville Pirates football coach Greg Hough said these guys were all a big part of the team’s success on the field and continue to succeed in the classroom and beyond. “2022 will be the most kids Boonville has put on the Academic All-State Football Team in my five years,” stated Hough. “It takes a lot of time, effort and work to achieve this award.” Players selected academic all-state for Boonville are (front row, left to right) Rhodes Leonard, Ross Brackman, Eli Stock and Colby Caton.
