A ceremony was held on April 8 to honor Dr. Charles Whitten and the department he leads at UT Southwestern. The purpose of the ceremony was to dedicate the Anesthesia Learning Resource Center at Parkland Hospital in memory of Dr Greg Jenkin’s late father, and Dr M.T. Pepper Jenkins. The event was attended by Dr Greg and Peggy Fleming Jenkins, Dorothy Whitten, Cheri Whitten and Dr Don Jackson, a close family friend of the Whitten’s. Numerous faculty and staff from the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center were also present.
