Wilbert “Skip” O’Bryan, 67, of Franklin passed away Friday morning May 13, 2022, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Skip will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Friendship Foursquare Church in New Franklin, MO. Skip requested cremation, and will be buried with his father, Z.M. O’Bryan.

Wilbert Houston O’Bryan was born February 8, 1955, in Boonville, MO., the son of Z.M. O’Bryan and Bessie Robison O’Bryan. He married Delores Branson on May 3, 1991, in Jefferson City, MO. Skip loved to fish and race his hotrod cars, especially his Chevelle that he would take to area racetracks. He loved his fur babies and would take care of any stray dog or cat that showed up around the house. He was a simple man that would help anyone out that needed it. He loved spending time with his family.

Skip was preceded in death by his father, Z.M., brothers, David Madison O’Bryan, and Gary Dickerson O’Bryan. He is survived by his wife, Delores of the home, mother, Bessie O’Bryan of New Franklin, MO., Sons, James Wayne O’Bryan of Texas, Quentin Scott O’Bryan of Woodbridge, VA., and David Loveall (Step-son) of Franklin, MO., Daughters, Suzanne Ayers of Boonville, MO., and Cynthia Gross (Step-daughter) of Syracuse, MO., Sisters, Susan Rhorer of New Franklin, MO., Lana Belshe of Gallatin, MO., and Shelia Griffitt of Harrisburg, MO. He was loved by his many nieces and nephews, and will be missed by his grandchildren, Jordan, Ashtyn, and Alexys as well as his great-grandchildren, Madilyn and Syrena.
