The Prairie Home girls’ volleyball team will kick off their inaugural season under the guidance of head coach Christin Rutledge on Friday, August 29 against Otterville in Prairie Home, starting at 6 p.m. Rutledge said 10 girls will make up this year’s volleyball team. “My hope for the season is for the team to work hard, and learn about the game,” Rutledge said. “I am also hoping that we can build community support for the game of volleyball.” Members of the Prairie Home volleyball team are (front row, left to right) Alana Gauthier, Alexia Gentzsch, Ava Marcum, Jordyn Alpers and Tyleigh Kendrick.
