The New Franklin boys' basketball team captured the championship in the 96th annual New Franklin Basketball Tournament on Saturday after knocking off top-seeded Westran 47-38. The Bulldogs entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed but came away with wins over Wellsville, Fayette and Westran to finish the tournament at 3-0.
