A devastating fire destroyed Unlimited Opportunities yesterday, and investigators are still determining cause. In the mean time, the people who were helped on a daily basis or employed by Unlimited Opportunities are still in need.

Mark Ficken, Boonville school superintendent, has donated offices for the group at Central School for as long as needed, and other community groups are stepping up to help.

Crews from Kelly Clean Up are helping dig through the debris, and Greis Construction is helping with the metal remains. UOI staff is helping by salvaging personnel items recovered from the fire.

How you can help:
• Citizen's Bank and Trust, 400 East Spring Street, and Citizens Community Bank, 500 Jackson Road, have accounts open to accept donations for Unlimited Opportunities.
• Drop off games, puzzles, activities and office supplies — anything a kid or person can do at a desk, according to Lori Woods with UOI— at the Boonville Daily News offices, 412 High St.
