Two men who admitted to burglarizing a fast-food restaurant in Boonville have been sentenced to federal prison for a series of armed bank robberies in Missouri.
William Alan Wolfe, 29, was sentenced last week to 30 years in federal prison without parole on two counts of armed robbery and one count of using a firearm during a crime of violence, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri.
Michael A. Leak, 20, was sentenced in June to 15 years and one month without parole for two counts of aiding and abetting another person in armed bank robberies.
The two suspects also admitted to a June 2009 burglary of the KFC in Boonville, according to the probable cause statement. The admission of the Boonville burglary was not included in the plea agreement.
