The Boonville Babe Ruth 10-and-under All-Stars had a first over the weekend while competing in the Babe Ruth State Tournament at Monett, Missouri.
In only its second year of Babe Ruth softball, the Boonville 10-year-old All-Stars will now advance to the Regional Tournament in Wellington, Kansas on July 23-26.
But that’s not all. During the final awards ceremony for 10U, medals were awarded to Hannah Fuemmeler for outstanding catcher in the tournament and to Sydnee Poindexter for outstanding fielder at first base.
