Even though Boonville’s Senior Legion baseball team dropped three games in the Sedalia Tournament over the weekend, at least they were competitive in two out of the three games while losing to Raytown 4-1 and Excelsior Springs 6-5.

As for the second game Saturday against Sedalia Post 642, Boonville would just as soon forget about that game while losing by a score of 13-4 in five innings.

In the opening round on Friday against Raytown, Boonville’s Senior Legion baseball team managed just seven hits with Matt Polony collecting two singles, Dustin Ray one double and Zach Huckabey, Chad Oser, Hank Wellborn and Nick Skelton each with one single.
