The Ss. Peter & Paul girls seventh grade basketball team outscored Marshall in each of the four quarters of play for a 32-12 victory last night at the David Barton gymnasium.
The Lady Warriors, improving to 8-3 on the season, opened the game with a 8-4 lead against Marshall and then outscored the Owls 4-2 in the second period to go up 12-6. Meanwhile, after holding a 10-2 scoring edge in the third quarter to make it 22-8, Ss. Peter & Paul came back and outscored Marshall 10-4 in the final period for the victory.
Carley Esser led the scoring attack in the game for Marshall with 12 points along with eight rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Marshall was led by Bri Vaner with eight points.

The Marshall girls eighth grade basketball team rallied from a three-point deficit at the half by outscoring Ss. Peter & Paul 10-6 in the final-two periods for a 26-25 victory last night at the David Barton gymnasium.
The Lady Warriors, dropping to 8-5 on the season, played Marshall to a 12-12 tie after one and then outscored the Owls 7-4 in the second quarter to go up by a score of 19-16. However, in the second half, Marshall outscored Ss. Peter & Paul 10-6 for the one-point victory.
For Ss. Peter & Paul, Bailey Pfeiffer led the scoring attack with 10 points, eight rebounds, five steals, two assists and one blocked shot.

The Marshall boys seventh grade basketball team outscored Ss. Peter & Paul 29-10 in the first-two quarters and never looked back, beating the Warriors last night at the David Barton gymnasium by a score of 51-29.
Ss. Peter & Paul, dropping to 1-6 on the season, trailed Marshall 13-4 after one, 29-10 at the half and 38-20 after three quarters of play. Meanwhile, in the final period, the Owls outscored Ss. Peter & Paul 13-9 for the victory.
John Reese finished the game for Ss. Peter & Paul with a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, four steals and one blocked shot.

The Marshall boys eighth grade basketball team outscored Ss. Peter & Paul in three out of the four quarters of play for a 50-34 victory last night at the David Barton gymnasium.
The Warriors, dropping to 9-4 on the season, trailed Marshall 10-4 after one, 25-13 at the half and 39-18 after three quarters of play before rallying back with a 16-11 scoring edge in the final period.
Zach Nixon led the scoring attack in the game for Ss. Peter & Paul with 17 points along with five rebounds, five assists and two steals.
