Kellen Brownfield had five singles, and teammates Logan Zaugg, Andrea Jackson and Lane West added four singles each to lead to the Indians past the Yankees 11-4 in Rookie League action last night at Kemper Park.


For the Yankees, Carson Campbell, Lauryn Jones, Colton Scott, Lyndsey Brown, Luke Rehagen and Russell Potter each had two singles.


Royals 12, Red Sox 2
Quin Gentry had three doubles, and Dalton Elder added two singles and one double to lead the Royals past the Red Sox by a score of 12-2 in Rookie League action last night at Kemper park.


Michael Rannebaum, Peyton Keeran, Shane Ashpaugh, Shelby Ashpaugh and Michael Browning each had two singles while Sam Esser added one single.
