New Franklin’s Junior Babe Ruth baseball team had one of those nights where nothing went right last night in a doubleheader against Glasgow.

After dropping the first game 20-3 while committing eight errors, New Franklin struggled as well in the nightcap by giving up 19 runs in only three innings to suffer a 19-11 loss.

While dropping to 1-9 on the season, New Franklin head coach Erich Gerding said even though the teams record has a lot to be desire, they are very young and inexperienced. “It’s crucial that this group maintain their great attitudes, play as much baseball as possible, and keep learning,” Gerding said.
