Despite a heat index of 105 on Thursday, ATG Sports Industries, Inc. continued work at the BHS Sports Complex by installing the base rock on the geo fabric.
Rhiannon Bolinger, director of marketing for ATG Sports Industries, Inc., said the crew will finish work on the conduit and contine to work on the bleachers, concrete curbs and sidewalks and install geo fabric. The project, which began in May, is expected to be completed in time before the first football game against the Versailles Tigers on Friday, August 28th.
In addition to the turf and all-weather track, the BHS Sports Complex will have new bleachers on the visiting side, a new retaining wall below the home bleachers, two new goalpost, three new runways for pole vault, triple jump and long jump and a area for the high jump.
