The LSE Hawks wrestling team fell 25-13 in matches last night against both the Moberly Spartans and Mexico Bulldogs.
In the opening round against Mexico, the Hawks finished the match with a record of 9-11 overall.
Recording wins for LSE were Jeff Ruffalo over Barnhart 10-6; Austin Hulbert over Ja. Taylor 4-2; Lauren Potter in overtime over Goodman 2-0; Brandon Ashpaugh by fall over McDonald; Ben Rumbaoa by pin over Mills; Andrew Broyhill by pin over Fayad; Halden Toomsen by pin over Hampton; Broyhill by pin over Jackson; and Josh Saladana by pin over Ward.
In other matches against Mexico, Austin Henderson lost by 7-2 against Smith; Colby Cates lost by pin against Roberts; Rory Concannon lost 10-0 against Morgan; Dylan Snapp lost 8-2 against Kaufman; Devin Doyle lost by pin against Bradshaw; Adam Christal lost by pin against Gooldy; Saladana lost by pin against Minor; Christal lost by pin against Turner; and Austin Keithly lost by pin against Adams.
In the match against Moberly, the Hawks again came out on the short in on matches 4-14.
