Pilot Grove wins Class 1 District 10 title

The Pilot Grove boys basketball team will move on to the sectional round of the state playoffs after beating the Glasgow Yellowjackets in the championship in the Class 1 District 10 Tournament Friday night at Pilot Grove 56-39.

The Tigers, 25-3 on the season, will play 12-7 Bosworth on Tuesday, March 9th at Sedalia Smith-Cotton High School starting at 7:45 p.m.

The Pilot Grove Lady Tigers, 23-5, will take on Hardin-Central, 19-8, in sectional play Tuesday night at Sedalia Smith-Cotton starting at 6 p.m.

The winners in each game will advance to the quarterfinal round of the state tournament on Saturday, March 13th at Missouri Valley College in Marshall. Tip-off for the girl's game on Saturday is 1 p.m., followed by the boy's game at 2:45.
