A-Bow-K, Quinlans win in 14-and-under softball

A-Bow-K defeated P&C Trucking by a score of 20-3. Meanwhile, in the nightcap, QuinlanAgency.com turned back Premier Furniture by a score of 19-9.

A-Bow-K scored early and often last night against P&C Trucking in Babe Ruth 14-and-under softball by exploding for 18 runs in the first en route to a 20-3 victory.
A-Bow-K led P&C Trucking 18-1 after one and 18-3 after two before pushing two more runs across in the bottom-half of the third for the victory.


Haley Hilden picked up the win on the mound for A-Bow-K while Daisey Matney took the loss for P&C Trucking. In three innings, Hilden struck out two batters and gave up three runs on one hit and two walks. For P&C Trucking,Daisey Matney started the game and pitched 2/3 inning and allowed 11 runs on three hits and four walks while striking out two.
Logan Esser led the hitting attack in the game for A-Bow-K with two singles and three RBIs.

Hannah Verslues went 4-for-4 with three singles, one double and one RBI to lead QuinlanAgency.com past Premier Furniture last night in Babe Ruth 14-and-under softball last night at Rolling Hills Park.


Quinlans trailed 3-0 after 1 1/2 innings before rallying with 13 runs in the second, one again in the third and five in the fourth for the victory.
