The Boonville Pirates baseball team played perhaps its most complete game of the season yesterday in a NCMC game against the Marshall Owls.
While struggling either offensively or defensively, depending on which day it is, the Pirates had one of those games last night where the offense was way out there by exploding for 18 runs on 15 hits in a 18-3 pasting against the Owls.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that the errors continue to mount up for the season as the Pirates committed five in only five innings last night. For the season, Boonville has 11 errors in four games, which averages to 2.75 errors per game.
