After only three dates in Cal Ripken Major, Dave’s Country Market may just be the biggest surprise after improving to 2-0 on the season with a 7-4 win over Citizen’s Bank & Trust last night at the Little League Field in Harley Park.

Of course Reagan’s Sports Center also pulled off a big surprise last night by knocking off QuinlanAgency.com by a score of 12-5.

For Dave’s Country Market, the game last night against Citizen’s Bank & Trust was all about jumping out to an early lead while pushing across three runs in the first, one again in the second and three again in the fourth. As for Citizen’s Bank & Trust, they took the opposite approach by sending four runs across in the bottom-half of the sixth.
Ian Pond picked up the win on the mound for Dave’s Country Market while Alec Viertel took the loss for CB&T.
