Boonville Kids Fishing Day will be held on Saturday, June 7th at the city lake behind Dave’s Country Market from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
Paul Wunderlich, former Cooper County Conservation Agent, said there will be limited amount of bait and tackle available but recommends the kids and parents bring their own.
The event is sponsored by the Boonville Kiwanis, Boonville Park Department and the Missouri Department of Conservation. Soft drinks will be provided by Dave’s Country Market. Keith Beck Auto Group will be There cooking hot dogs and Stan’s MFA will provide the worms.
