The Mid Missouri Lady Renegades traveled to Adair Park in Independence, Missouri for the USSSA World Series Warm up.

"We knew that this would be a tough tournament because the bracket was going to consist of both 18u A & B teams from Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska," Coach Eric McNeal said. "But this was the best way to see where we are at before starting the State Tournament next week in Columbia."

The Lady Renegades began the tournament against the St. Louis Fierce. Emma Gonzalez took the to the circle and pitched a great game, giving up two runs on 6 hits, striking out 2 and walking none. Unfortuneately, the Lady Renegades couldn't put any offense behind her, as they were no hit in the game. Their only baserunners were three walks to Gonzalez, Lindsay Hendrix, and Devon McNeal. Defensively they only commited one error, and played a great all around game, but coming up on the short end of a 2-0 score.
