The LSE boys and girls eighth grade track teams couldn’t have asked for a better way to closeout the 2008 season while competing at Carrollton back on Monday, April 28th.
While the Hawk boys finished seventh overall with 26 points, the LSE girls eighth grade track team placed 10th overall with 7 points.

LSE coach Brad Parsons said after a long break, the kids performed well in tough conditions. “Their times were pretty good, and we were pleased with them,” Parsons said. “The coaches, Jennifer Barnes, Kristin Roberts and Jaycln Smith and I are very happy with the 2008 track season. The kids improved on their times and distances throughout the season.”

Dyllan Crowley was the only first-place finisher in the meet for LSE. Crowley captured first in the long jump with a leap of 17’-5”. He also took second in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:00 and fourth in the 100-meter dash in 12.6 seconds.
