“We started out hot,” said Pilot Grove coach Linda Scott. I think we surprised them with our speed. Our post players are coming around. Peterson, Hoff and Roth rebounded well, plus passed the ball much better. We haven’t had a practice in two weeks because of high school practices. It showed tonight. We got into foul problems in the second half and had to back off some pressure. We just didn’t finish the game out tonight. We played hard but didn’t attack on offense the last quarter. We did some good events tonight and leared a lot. However we must play to win every minute of a game.”
