The Bunceton Lady Dragons volleyball team fell in two straight sets Wednesday night against Smithton 11-25 and 10-25.
Bunceton coach Casandra Goyer said the girls came out strong but got in their heads really early and struggled to recover. “The second set was closer in the beginning, but yet again we failed to play with our full potential and gave up,” Goyer said.
Reagan Triebsch led the Lady Dragons with 12 completed passes along with four sets, four hits and two service points. Autumn Bishop finished the match with 13 passes along with two service points with two aces, two hits, one set and one kill. Cara Bishop had 14 passes along with three service points with one ace, two hits, one set and one block while Taylynn Heilman added 10 passes, three sets, two hits and two tips, Amaris Vaca five completed passes and three service points with one ace, Madelynn Myers with seven passes and one tip and Emily Breece with three sets.
