The Bunceton Lady Dragons volleyball team fell in two straight sets Thursday night on the road against the Hallsville Lady Indians 11-25 and 11-25.
Bunceton coach Casandra Goyer said the girls jumped out ahead early and then fizzled out from there. “We seem to be our own worst enemy at times and I am hoping we can overcome this hurdle,” Goyer said. “However, I thought our serves looked really good against Hallsville.”
Senior Autumn Bishop finished the match for Bunceton with three service points, two blocks and one kill. She also had four tips. Cara Bishop, meanwhile, had three service points with one ace, two tips and one kill.
Hallsville also won the JV match in two straight sets 25-2 and 25-8.
