The Boonville 12U All-Stars will play for another day after capturing first in the Missouri Babe Ruth State Tournament over the weekend in Scott City.
By finishing the tournament undefeated in four games, the Boonville 12U All-Stars also had the perfect start on Thursday by throttling the MV Force by a score of 26-1.
After exploding for six runs in the first, the Boonville 12 All-Stars came back and plated four more runs in the second, 11 in the third and five in the fourth.
Preslee Sunderland picked up the win in the circle for Boonville with three strikeouts in two innings.
Amera Wright led the hitting attack with two singles, one double and one triple.
Alison Eichelberger finished the game with two singles while Abby Fuemmeler added one triple, Bridgette Lutz, LeAsia Bruce and Skylar Sunderland each with one double and Megan Lewis, Cassidy Bishop and Kaylea Felten each with one single.
Of course the Boonville 12 All-Stars also had a pretty impressive showing on Friday by beating the SEMO Underdogs 15-0.
In that game, Boonville exploded for five runs in the first and then sent six runs across in the second and four again in the third to win by the mercy rule.
Skylar Sunderland picked up the win in the circle for Boonville by striking out three batters in two innings. She also gave up two hits and two walks.
The Boonville 12 All-Stars also out-hit SEMO Underdogs 10-2, with Preslee Sunderland going 2-for-3 with a single, home run and four RBIs. Megan Lewis finished the game with one single and one triple while Amera Wright added two singles, Abby Fuemmeler, Le’Asia Bruce, Alison Eichelberger and Bridgette Lutz each with one single and Kaylea Felten with one RBI.
In the third game, the Boonville 12 All-Stars turned back the SEMO Tank Tech 6-2.
Boonville never trailed in the game against SEMO Tank Tech and scored one run in the first, two again in the fourth and three in the fifth.
Megan Lewis picked up the win in the circle for Boonville by striking out nine batters in six innings.
Collecting hits in the game for Boonville were Megan Lewis with two singles, Amera Wright with a triple and one RBI,  Cora Thompson with one single and two RBIs, Bridgette Lutz with one single and one RBI and Marci Lammers, Addison Newell, Alison Eichelberger and Skylar Sunderland each with one single.
In the final game on Saturday, the Boonville 12 All-Stars edged the Freedom All-Stars 3-2.
The Boonville 12 All-Stars trailed the Freedom All-Stars 2-0 after 3 1/2 before rallying back with one in the fourth and two again in the sixth for the victory.
