Shelter Insurance rallied from a one-run deficit after the first inning to beat GKC-CPA’s 18-12 in Instructional League play Saturday at New Franklin.
Noah Hackman led the hitting attack in the game for Shelter Insurance, 4-1, by hitting for the cycle with a single, double, triple and home run.
Belle Chitwood finished the game with two singles, one triple and one home run while Hayden Porneluzi and Reid Hackman added four singles, Addison Forbis with two singles and one triple, Luke Chitwood with two singles and one double, Cooper Hull with three singles, Cassidy Felten with two singles and Jade Forbis with one single.
For GKC-CPA’s, who dropped to 0-4-1, Brian Bockting had three singles and one triple while Gabriel Cotton added two singles and one triple, Josie Chitwood two singles and one double, Jonah Bishop three singles, Colton Long one single and one double, Casten Jennings and Hope Thornburg each with two singles, Cayden Long one double and Wyatt Terrell and Aubrey Loerzel each with one single.
