Boonville Daily News entered Wednesday night’s game against A-Bow-K perfect on the season in Cal Ripken Minor.
Nothing changed after six innings as Boonville Daily News led A-Bow-K from start to finish for a 11-5 victory.
In the nightcap, Bradley Automotive improved to 7-5 on the season by turning back Axis Seed 10-0.
Boonville Daily News, improving to 11-0 on the season, had their hands full early on while playing A-Bow-K to a 2-2 tie after two. Boonville Daily News also led by just one at 5-4 after three before outscoring A-Bow-K 6-1 over the final three innings for the victory.
Darrin Leonard was the winning pitcher in the game for Boonville Daily News while Chase Chamberlain took the loss for A-Bow-K, who dropped to 5-6. Leonard pitched 2 2/3 innings as the starter and gave up four runs on one hit and three walks while striking out four batters. Chamberlain, meanwhile, pitched 2 2/3 innings and gave up five runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three.
Boonville Daily News also out-hit A-Bow-K 8-5, with Brooks Poulsen going 2-for-3 with a single, triple and three RBIs.
Bryson Welch was 2-for-3 with  a single, double and one RBI while Lyle Christy added one triple, Darrin Leonard and Jackson Shelton each with one double, Haden Oliver with one double and Shawn Beach-Reasons and A.J. Massa each with one RBI.
For A-Bow-K, Chase Chamberlain tripled while Kailen Vaca added one single and two RBIs, Reece Townlain and Aiden Schueler each with one single and one RBI and Dylan Kosky with one single.
In the second game, Bradley Automotive and Axis Seed were scoreless 3 1/2 innings of play. However, after exploding for six runs in the bottom half of the fourth, Bradley Automotive came back and plated four more runs in the fifth for the win.
Payton Oeth pitched all five innings for Bradley Automotive for the win while Landry Timm took the loss for Axis Seed, who dropped to 5-6 on the season. Oeth struck out 12 batters and gave up no runs on no hits and no walks. Timm, meanwhile, pitched the first three innings and gave up three runs on two hits and one walk while striking out seven.
Bradley Automotive also out-hit Axis Seed 5-0, with Oeth going 2-for-3 with a double, triple and four RBIs. Bodie White had two singles and one RBI while Donovin Atkins added one double and Jailyn Patel with one RBI.
Axis Seed had no hits in the ballgame.
Tuesday’s games
Axis Seed and Bradley Automotive hit the double figure mark for runs in Cal Ripken Minor Tuesday at the COCOBA ballfield.
While Axis Seed upended Central Realty 15-7, Bradley Automotive also won big against Huebert Fiberboard by a score of 16-10.
Axis Seed, improving to 5-5 on the season, trailed Central Realty 7-3 after 2 1/2 before exploding for 12 runs in the bottom-half of the third for the victory.
Isaac Herman picked up the win in relief for Axis Seed while Ethan Bean took the loss for Central Realty, who dropped to 2-8 on the season. Herman pitched 2 1/3 innings for starter Aden Rapp and struck out four batters while giving up one run on two hits. Bean, meanwhile, pitched part of the third and gave up four runs on one hit and two walks.
Axis Seed also had 11 hits in the game, with Isaac Herman and Seth Thomas each collecting two hits with a single, double and two RBIs.
Landry Timm also had two hits  with a single, double and one RBI while Michael Shady added two singles and one RBI, KeiSean Roper with one double and one RBI, Clayton Schuster one single and two RBIs, Aden Rapp one single and one RBI and JaSean Roper and Dylan McGuire each with one RBI.
For Central Realty, Nathan Bean went 1-for-2 with a double and one RBI. Dylann Clark and Gabe Romero each had one single and one RBI while Kole Kivett added one single.
In the nightcap, Huebert Fiberboard also led Bradley Automotive 3-0 after 1/2 inning but was outscored 16-7 for the rest of the game.
Bodie White was the pitcher of record in the game for Bradley Automotive while Hayden Sandbothe took the loss for Huebert Fiberboard, who dropped to 3-8. White pitched the first two innings and gave up three runs on four walks while striking out three batters. Sandbothe, meanwhile, pitched 2/3 inning as the starter and gave up seven runs on two hits and four walks while striking out two batters.
Bradley Automotive, who improved to 6-5 on the season, also finished the game with six hits, with Payton Oeth going 2-for-2 with a single, triple and five RBIs. Jailyn Patel, Baylor Jackson, Isaiah Barber and Jett Storm each had one single and one RBI while Donovin Atkins added one RBI.
For Huebert Fiberboard, Logan Turk tripled and drove in one run while Lucas Schuster, Thomas Wood, Alexander Ewings, Khale Bohlken and Oliver Prenger had one RBI each.
