Fayette Outlaws scored seven runs in the first-two innings and never looked back, beating Creations by Diana 7-5 in Babe Ruth 10U softball Monday at Lions park.
In the nightcap, Drummond Photography defeated 87 Diner 5-2.
Fayette Outlaws also out-hit Creations by Diana 13-7, with Leah Thies going 3-for-3 with three singles. Addy Gibbs had two singles and three RBIs while Cayle John and Ella Dooling added two singles each and Payton Kindle, Mariah Felten, Browyn Eubanks and Melissa Innes with one single apiece.
For Creations by Diana, Rowen Stock doubled and drove in three runs. Rebecca Renfrow finished the game with a double and one RBI while Maggie Schuster added a single and one RBI and Riley Wilson, Reagan Wilson, Amber Bishop and Molly Davidson each with one single.
In the second game, Drummond Photography broke a 1-1 tie after 2 1/2 by outscoring 87 Diner 4-1 for the rest of the game.
Drummond Photography also had 10 hits in the game, with Mia Eckerle going 2-for-2 with a single, home run and two RBIs. Sophia Zoeller, Kaylee Casey and Lillie Moore also had two singles each while Emerson Eads had one double and Katelynn Drummond, Elizabeth Eichelberger and Shelby Munden each with one single.
For 87 Diner, Kayleigh Baker had one single and one RBI while Anna Wolfe, Cloey Tavenner and Nadeen Zeller each had one single.
