The Ss. Peter & Paul girls volleyball team stood on the brink of dropping its first match of the season after losing in Game 1 Monday night in Boonville against Southern Boone 23-25.
However after rallying back to beat Southern Boone 25-16 in the second set, the Lady Warriors won the third set as well by a score of 15-9 to extend their win streak to 11 games.
Ss. Peter & Paul coach Dina Herzog said she had to make some changes with Abby Fuemmeler being gone. “I put the girls in roles they weren’t used to,” Herzog said. “Emma and Lillian ran the offense and Zoey hit outside. I’m so happy how we played together and helped each other out. Addi also served so well in Game 3 to secure the win.”
Addi Brownfield led the Lady Warriors with 17 service points with nine aces along with 11 kills and two assists.
