The Ss. Peter & Paul girls volleyball team ran its win total to nine matches Tuesday night by beating Marshall in three sets Tuesday night in Boonville by the scores of 20-25, 25-8 and 15-5.
Although the Lady Warriors improve to 9-0 with the win, head coach Dina Herzog said the girls lacked enthusiasm and skills in Game 1. “We lost the first one by helping Marshall out with balls hit too long or in the net and misses serves,” Herzog said. “More talking and team work, where everyone contributed allowed us to easily win games 2 and 3. This group is very talented.”
Addi Brownfield led the Lady Warriors with 15 service points with eight aces along with seven kills and one assist.
Abby Fuemmeler finished the match with 11 assists along with eight service points with six aces and two kills. Emma West had five service points with four aces along with two kills and one assist while Olivia Eichelberger added nine service points with two aces and one assist, Lillian Rohrbach with two assists and one service point, Alyssa Fitzgerald with two kills and one service point and Hailey James with one kill.
