The Bunceton girls junior high basketball team fell at home Tuesday night against the Jamestown Lady Eagles by a score of 35-15.
The Lady Dragons, dropping to 0-2 on the season, trailed Jamestown 19-5 at the half and 31-7 after three quarters of play before rallying back with a 8-4 advantage in the final period.
Ginna Meisenheimer had the game-high for Jamestown with 16 points while Paige Shelton chipped in nine and Kylee Russell with four.
For Bunceton, Laney Heilman had eight points, seven rebounds and two steals. Alexia Hein added three points, five rebounds and one steal while Abby Cunningham had two points, four rebounds and one assist, Kylee Myers with one point, six rebounds and four steals and Madison Davis with one point and six rebounds.
