The Ss. Peter & Paul girls volleyball team ran its season record to 8-0 by beating Sweet Springs in two straight sets 25-13 and 25-19.
Ss. Peter & Paul coach Dina Herzog said overall the team played well. “It’s always a challenge to play at your level when it’s a slower paced game,” Herzog said. “However, the girls did run an offense.”
Emma West led the Lady Warriors with 14 service points with seven aces along with five kills on 10 attack attempts.
Addi Brownfield finished the match with eight service points with one ace along with seven kills on 15 attack attempts, two digs and one assist. Lillian Rohrbach had five service points with four aces along with two kills on five attack attempts and one assist while Alyssa Fitzgerald added four service points with one ace and four kills on six attack attempts, Abby Fuemmeler with 14 assists and three service points, Hailey James with three kills and two service points, Olivia Eichelberger with one service points with one ace and one dig.
