The Boonville Lady Pirates golf team accomplished a feat that hasn’t been achieved in three years Thursday night on the road against Father Tolton.
While playing at L.A. Nickell Golf Course in Columbia, the Lady Pirates finished 17 strokes better than Father Tolton by a score of 192-209.
Boonville Lady Pirates golf coach Rob VanderLinden said this was a great way to finish the week of three matches and a tournament. “Once again, McKenna Stumph finished with the lowest score by shooting a 38, which was 3-over par,” VanderLinden said.
Stumph also had her second straight eagle in two matches on Thursday. The senior standout also finished the day with one birdie, two pars and four bogeys.
Olivia Reynolds finished the match with a score of 48 with two pars and two bogeys while Alisa Newbold added a score of 52 with one par and one bogey, Mille Dorman 54 with one par and one bogey, Jalyn Schnetzler 58 with two bogeys and Julianne Bromagen with a score of 66.
Father Tolton was led by Sidney Fessler with a score of 48.
