Chipley & Company doubles up Shelter Insurance, 28-14

In the final game of the season in New Franklin Instructional League play, GKC-CPA’s edged Jennings Premium Meats 13-10 while Chipley & Company doubled up Shelter Insurance by a score of 28-14.
For GKC-CPA’s, Quincy Dorson led the hitting attack with four singles and one home run.
Daniel Hackman finished the game with two singles and two home runs while Josh Marshall added two singles, one double and one home run, Callie Chitwood and Josie Chitwood each with three singles, Ryder Dorson with one single and one double and Braxtan Mize with one single.
For Jennings Premium Meats, Katelynn Cook had three singles and one triple. Noah Hackman finished the game with one single, one double and one home run while Jackson Siebrandt and Haden Davis added three singles each, Kain Studley and Addison Baker each with two singles and Easton Gerding, Carter Ivy and Grady Banks with one single apiece.
As for the scoring in the game, Jennings Premium Meats and GKC-CPA’s were tied at 5-all after 2 1/2. However after scoring three more runs in the bottom-half of the third, GKC-CPA’s came back and exploded for five runs in the fourth to go up 13-6. Jennings Premium Meats then made it interesting with three runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to cut the lead to three.
In the second game, Chipley & Company led Shelter Insurance from the first inning on while scoring at least three runs in every inning.
Although the first inning was close at  5-4, the next-five innings saw Chipley & Company run away from Shelter Insurance with a 23-10 advantage.
Blaine Begemann led all hitters for Chipley & Company with three singles, one double and one home run. Elyas Brown had two singles, one double and one triple while Korinna Chitwood, Cooper Hull and Dylan Miller added four singles each, Brian Bockting one single and two doubles, Peyton Washburn, Alison Flick, Hadley Caszatt and Addison Forbis each with three singles and Levi Humphrey with one single.
For Shelter Insurance, David Swearengen and Caylub Cox each had one singles and two doubles. Charleigh Collyott and Gabe Cotton had two singles and one double each while Belle Chitwood added three singles, Mason McGruder and Logan Perry with two singles each and Jonah Bishop, Colten Schlotzhauer, Hope Thornburg and Kallie Burnett each with one single.
