Exchange Bank had a good week in New Franklin Little League Softball last week by going a perfect 3-0 with wins over Shelter Insurance  and GKC-CPA’s.
In the first game against Shelter Insurance last Thursday, Exchange Bank broke a 6-6 tie after 3 1/2 by scoring the winning run in the bottom-half of the fourth for a 7-6 victory.
Addy Salmon picked up the win in relief for Exchange Bank while Lily Chitwood took the loss for Shelter Insurance.
Salmon also had the only extra base hit, being a triple, while Kinsley Washburn, Ella Oser, Canna Jennings and Natalie Curry added one single each.
Shelter Insurance was led by Rylee Mehroff and Gracelynn Evans each with one single.
In Game 2 last Thursday, which was machine pitch, Exchange Bank edged GKC-CPA’s 11-10.
Exchange Bank trailed GKC-CPA’s 10-6 after 3 1/2 before rallying back with two runs in the bottom-half of the fourth and three again in the fifth for the victory.
Carly Dorson led Exchange Bank with two singles, one triple and one home run. Natalie Curry had two singles and one triple while Addy Salmon and Ella Oser added three singles each, Tatum Hoover with two singles and Lydia Hepner, Kinsley Washburn and Canna Jennings each with one single.
For GKC-CPA’s, Natalie Wiseman had one single and two doubles. Justice Singleton and Gracie Martin each had two singles and one double while Makenzie Martin added two singles and Jayna Matthews, Lilly Washburn, Natalie Caszatt, Chloe Chitwood and Skylar Greenwood each with one single.
In Game 3, Shelter Insurance defeated GKC-CPA’s 9-7 by breaking a 7-7 tie in the bottom-half of the third with two runs.
Heaven Hundley picked up the win in relief for Shelter Insurance while Justice Singleton took the loss for GKC-CPA’s.
Hundley also had a single and a double to lead all hitters for Shelter Insurance while Lily Kaullen added two singles and Elaina Henderson with one single.
For GKC-CPA’s, Justice Singleton and Chloe Chitwood each had one single.
In the final game, Exchange Bank again defeated GKC-CPA’s 9-8 in machine pitch.

Justice Singleton and Jayna Matthews finished the game with two singles each while Lilly Washburn added one triple, Gracie Martin with one double and Makenzie Martin, Natalie Caszatt and Hazel Schnell each with one single.
