Drummond Photography closed out the season on a high note by beating 87 Diner 6-3 in Babe Ruth 8U softball Thursday night at Lions park.
Drummond Photography, who finished the season at 9-1 overall, led 87 Diner 4-3 after two before pushing across two more runs in the fifth for the victory.
Drummond Photography also out-hit 87 Diner 18-11, with Hillary James going 3-for-3 with two singles, one double and one RBI. Katelyn Drummond finished the game with three singles and two RBIs while Charlotte Rohrbach added three singles and one RBI, Jaden Ronnfeldt with three singles, Lily Gordon and Addison Renfrow each with two singles, Andi Hein one single and one RBI and Reece Ball with one RBI.
For 87 Diner, Karrman Leonard and Isabel Alvizo each had two singles and one RBI. Destiny Hawkins finished the game with two singles while Adelaide Lenz, Beth Giroux, Cecelia Gaddis, Kinsey Biesemeyer and Alex Thieman each with one single and Harley Joy with one RBI.

Kadence Sulltrop went 2-for-2 with a single, double and three RBIs and Kenna Vroman added two singles and two RBIs as Central Diesel out of Fayette beat Walmart in Babe Ruth 8U softball Thursday night at Lions park.
Central Diesel, who finished the season at 5-4-1 overall, led Walmart 5-1 after one and 9-1 after two.
Payton Kindle and Brooke Dougherty each had two singles and one RBI for Central Diesel while Paige Vroman and Greycyn Syferd added two singles each, Emma Hildgedick and Kennedy Crew with one single and one RBI each and Addison Gibbs with one single.
For Walmart, who dropped to 1-8-1 on the season, Elayna Einspahr had two singles and one RBI. Katie Pefferman and Callie Gann each had two singles while Lainey Humphrey and Taegan Anderson finished the gamw tih one single apiece.
