Boonville Ready Mix erased a 4-0 deficit after 2 1/2 by exploding for six runs in the bottom-half of the third to beat W-K Auto 6-4 in Midget League action Wednesday night at Kemper park.
Chase Chamberlain picked up the win in the relief for BRM, who improved to 6-5 on the season, while Colton Thompson took the loss for W-K Auto, who dropped to 5-6. Chamberlain pitched the final-two innings and struck out six batters while giving up one run on one hit and two walks. Thompson, meanwhile, pitched 1/3 inning and allowed four runs on one hit and three walks while striking out one batter.
Boonville Ready Mix also out-hit W-K Auto 4-2, with Dylann Clark going 1-for-1 with a double and two RBIs. Jayden Salzman had one single and two RBIs while Aaydin Zimmerman added one single and one RBI, Braylon Banuet with one single and Chase Chamberlain with one RBI.
For W-K Auto, Jackson Shelton had one double and two RBIs while Lyle Christy added one single and one RBI and Khale Ueligger with one RBI.

A-Bow-K raised its season record to 10-1 by turning back Boonville Caterpillar 4-1 in Midget League action Tuesday night at Kemper park.
A-Bow-K scored all four runs in the top-half of the first while Boonville Caterpillar plated its only run of the ballgame in the fourth.
Landry Timm picked up the win on the mound for A-Bow-K while Dalton Boler took the loss for Boonville Caterpillar, who dropped to 3-9. Timm pitched the first-three innings and struck out nine batters while giving up one hit. Gavin Schoen then came in and pitched one inning in relief and allowed one run on four walks while striking out three batters. Then, to finish the game, Landon Conz pitched one inning and walked one batter while striking out three.
For Boonville Caterpillar, Boler pitched the first-three innings and struck out nine batters while giving up four runs on five hits and three walks. Gabe Romero-Shelton then came in and pitched one inning in relief and struck out three batters. Then, to finish the game, Reece Townlain pitched one inning and issued one hit and one walk while striking out three.
A-Bow-K also out-hit Boonville Caterpillar 6-1, with Karson Elbert going 2-for-2 with one single, one triple and two RBIs. Isaac Herman finished the game with two singles while Landry Timm added one double and one RBI and Landon Conz with one single and one RBI.
