Boonville Ready Mix and C&R Market battled for six innings Wednesday night in Midget League action at Kemper park.
Although Boonville Ready Mix wound up winning the game by one at 14-13, the two teams each had six hits while playing flawless defense for six innings.
The game was also back and forth with C&R Market ledading BRM 10-7 after three only to have BRM rally back with seven runs in the top-half of the fourth to go up 14-10. But even that was short-lived as C&R Market stormed back with three runs in the bottom-half of the fourth to cut the lead back to one at 14-13.
As for the pitching, Jaxson Stonecipher picked up the win on the mound for BRM while Maddex Jackson took the loss for C&R Market.
Chase Chamberlain led the hitting attack in the game for BRM with three home runs and six RBIs. Stonecipher had a single, double and three RBIs while Alex Ewings added one single, Braylon Banuet two RBIs and Bruce Oswald, Dylann Clark and Jayden Salzman each with one RBI.
For C&R Market, Tim Monnig went 3-for-4 with three doubles and five RBIs. Hayden Sandbothe finished the game with one double and two RBIs while Kaiden Stover added one single and one RBI, Maddex Jackson with one single, Daylen Harris and Bryton Scott each with two RBIs and Kaden Thacker with one RBI.

Landon Conz and Landry Timm each had two hits as A-Bow-K defeated WK Auto in Midget League action Tuesday night at Kemper park.
A-Bow-K, improving to 8-1 on the season, finally got on the board with two runs in the top-half of the third to lead WK Auto 2-0. Meanwhile, after holding WK Auto scoreless in its half of the inning, A-Bow-K came back and broke the game wide open with six more runs to extend the lead to 8-0. Then, to end the scoring in the game, WK Auto scratched together its only run of the game in the bottom-half of the fifth.
Landry Timm picked up the win on the mound for A-Bow-K while Lyle Christy took the loss for WK Auto, who dropped to 5-5 on the season. Timm pitched the first-three innings and struck out eight batters while giving up two walks. Isaac Herman then came in and pitched two innings in relief and allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two batters.
For WK Auto, Christy pitched the first-three innings and struck out nine batters while giving up two runs on three hits and two walks. Jackson Shelton then came in and pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief and allowed six runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three batters.
A-Bow-K also had eight hits in the game, with Landon Conz going 2-for-2 with one being a double and two RBIs. Landry Timm had two singles and one RBI while Karson Elbert added a home run and two RBIs, Keylon Roper with one single and two RBIs, Isaac Herman and Marcus McGuire each with one single and Bryce Wassman with one RBI.
For WK Auto, Lyle Christy homered and drove in one run while Colton Thompson added one single.
