Tallin Kempf pitched a two-hit shutout as W-K Auto defeated Boonville Caterpillar 9-0 in Midget League action Monday night at Kemper park.
W-K Auto, improving to 5-4 on the season, opened the game with four runs in the bottom-half of the first  and then sent five runs across in the third.
Kempf also struck out nine batters and gave up only two hits and two walks in three innings pitched.
Landon Carter, meanwhile, took the loss for Boonville Caterpillar and gave up four runs on six walks while striking out one batter in 2/3 innings. Quincy Hobbs then came in and pitched 1 1/3 innings in relief and allowed five runs on one hit and eight walks while striking out three batters.
Lyle Christy had one single and two RBIs to lead WK Auto. Elijah Ueligger and Lexy Massey each drove in two runs while Tallin Kempf, Jackson Shelton and Colton Thompson added one RBI each.
For Boonville Caterpillar, who dropped to 3-6, Jett Storm and Landon Carter each had one single.
Boonville Caterpillar also left five on base while WK stranded three runners.
