Rt. B Cafe evened its season record to 4-4 by turning back Schlotzhauer Auto by a score of 13-5 in Cal Ripken Minor Saturday at the COCOBA ballfield.
Rt. B Cafe never trailed in the game against Schlotzhauer while leading 4-0 after one, 6-2 after two, 6-5 after three and 9-5 after four before adding four more runs in the fifth.
Jailyn Patel picked up the win on the mound for Rt. B Cafe while Jaeshua Barber took the loss for Schlotzhauer Auto, who dropped to 1-7 on the season. Patel pitched 2 2/3 innings and struck out seven batters while giving up five runs on three hits and two walks. Payton Oeth then came in and pitched 2 1/3 innings in relief and struck out five batters while giving up one hit and one walk.
For Schlotzhauer Auto, D’Avion Jones pitched 1/3 inning and surrendered four runs on six walks. Barber then came in and pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters. Then, to finish the game, Kailen Vaca pitched 2/3 inning and issued six runs on four hits and four walks while striking out two batters.
Rt. B Cafe also had six hits in the ballgame, with Patel going 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBIs. Oeth doubled and drove in one run while Jacob Thoma added one single and two RBIs, Ethan Henderson with one single and Lance Haynes with one RBI.
For Schlotzhauer Auto, Jaeshua Barber went 2-for-2 with a double, triple and two RBIs while D’Avion Jones added one single and two RBIs and Kaleb Arnold with one single.

The win improved Boonville Daily News record to 3-5 while Axis Seed fell to 4-5 on the season.

Huebert Fiberboard took matters into its own hands Thursday night in Cal Ripken Minor.
Tied with Tint Shop at 6-2 prior to the game, Huebert Fiberboard came out and exploded for 19 runs in the first-two innings to beat Boonville Daily News 19-1.
Huebert Fiberboard, now 7-2 on the season, left little doubt against the Boonville Daily News while leading 4-0 after the first. Meanwhile, in the second inning, Boonville Daily News scored its only run of the ballgame while Huebert Fiberboard exploded for 15 runs in the bottom-half of the inning to win by the mercy rule.
Luis Green picked up the win on the mound for Huebert Fiberboard while Zeke Pritchett took the loss for Boonville Daily News,  who dropped to 2-5 on the season. Green pitched all three innings and struck out seven batters while giving up one run on one hit and two walks.
For Boonville Daily News, Pritchett started the game and pitched one inning and gave up four runs on one hit and four walks while striking out two. Jamal Franklin then came in and pitched part of the second and allowed 10 runs on one hit and six walks. Then, to finish the game, Haden Oliver pitched one inning and issued five runs on one hit and three walks while striking out two batters.
Huebert Fiberboard also out-hit Boonville Daily News 3-1, with Connor Wilmsmeyer going 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Green had a single and four RBIs while Isaac Watring drove in two runs while Camrin Massey had one run batted in.
For Boonville Daily News, Jamal Franklin had the only hit with a single.

Rt. B Cafe improved to 3-4 on the season by turning back Axis Seed 10-4.
Rt. B Cafe scored early and often against Axis Seed while leading 3-0 after one and 6-3 after three. Meanwhile, after both teams put up one run again in the fourth, Rt. B Cafe all but sealed the victory by pushing across three more runs in the fifth.
Lance Haynes was the pitcher of record in the game for Rt. B Cafe while Aiden Rapp took the loss for Axis Seed, who dropped to 4-4. Haynes pitched the first-two innings and struck out five batters while giving up three runs on one hit and seven walks. Dakota Troost then came in and pitched three innings in relief and allowed one run on four walks while striking out six batters.
For Axis Seed, Rapp pitched 2 2/3 innings and surrendered five runs on four hits and four walks while striking out four. Clayton Schuster then came in and pitched 1/3 inning and issued one run on three walks with one strikeout. Then, to finish the game, Cooper Pfeiffer pitched two innings and yielded four runs on one hit and seven walks.
