Boonville Caterpillar handed A-Bow-K its first loss of the season Saturday in Midget League action at Kemper park by a score of 4-0.
Caterpillar opened the game with three runs in the first and then sent one run across in the second inning.
Landon Carter picked up the win on the mound for Caterpillar, who improved to 3-5. Keylon Roper, meanwhile, took the loss for A-Bow-K.
Caterpillar also out-hit A-Bow-K 3-1, with Brylan Carter going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBIs. Dalton Boler had one single and one RBI while Reece Townlain added one single and Quincy Hobbs with one RBI.
For A-Bow-K, who dropped to 7-1, Karson Elbert had one single.

Boonville Ready Mix scored seven runs in the first-two innings and never looked back, beating Boonville Caterpillar in Midget League action Friday night at Kemper park.
Boonville Ready Mix, 3-5 on the season, opened the game with three runs in the first and four again in the second to lead Caterpillar 7-2. Meanwhile, after Caterpillar put up three more runs in the third to cut the lead to two at 7-5, BRM came back and plated five runs in the fifth to garner the victory.
Braylon Banuet picked up the win on the mound for Boonville Ready Mix while Quincy Hobbs took the loss for Caterpillar.
Boonville Ready Mix also had eight hits in the ballgame, with Chase Chamberlain going 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs. Alex Ewings had a single, double and four RBIs while Jaxson Stonecipher added one single and two RBIs, Brennan Alberts with one single and one RBI, Aaydin Zimmerman and Dylann Clark each with one single and Jayden Salzman with one RBI.
For Caterpillar, Landon Carter doubled and drove in two runs while Brylan Carter, Jack Thompson and Mason Jones each had one RBI.

Boonville Ready Mix rallied from a one-run deficit after two by exploding for five runs in the third inning to beat WK Auto 8-4 in Midget League action Thursday night at Kemper park.
Boonville Ready Mix, improving to 2-5 on the season, opened the game with two runs in the first and one again in the second to lead WK Auto 3-0. However, in the bottom-half of the second, WK Auto rallied back with four runs to go up 4-3. Unfortunately for WK Auto, they never led after that as BRM tacked on five more runs in the third for the victory.
Jaxson Stonecipher picked up the win on the mound for BRM while Tallin Kempf took the loss for WK Auto, who dropped to 4-4.
Boonville Ready Mix also finished the game with four hits, with Chase Chamberlain going 3-for-3 with a triple, grand slam home run and seven RBIs. Dylann Clark also singled while Braylon Banuet drove in one run.
For WK Auto, Lyle Christy doubled and drove in three runs while Jackson Shelton added one single and Lexy Massey with one RBI.
